Dr. Cooke is a native of Greenwood, Arkansas, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Optometry at the Southern College of Optometry. Subsequently, he completed a residency at the Fayetteville VA Hospital, focusing on ocular disease and primary eye care.
Dr. Cooke is passionate about providing exceptional, patient-centered eye care. He is equally committed to education and has enjoyed teaching and mentoring numerous optometry students and residents throughout his career, helping to develop the next generation of eye care professionals.
His clinical interests include primary eye care, dry eye, ocular disease, and pre- and post-operative care. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best possible vision while maximizing comfort and quality of life.
Before joining The Eye Center, Dr. Cooke served at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, where his experience further strengthened his commitment to caring for those who have served our country.
Dr. Cooke earned his Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), a distinction that demonstrates advanced professional competence, clinical excellence, and a dedication to lifelong learning. He remains committed to staying at the forefront of optometric care and delivering the highest standard of service to every patient.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Cooke loves spending quality time with his wife, Tiffany, and their twins, Hays and Halle. Whether cheering on the Razorbacks or tackling home construction and remodeling projects together, family time is at the center of his life.
